I'm new to this and I already know the feeling. Same goes for my YouTube page. A video I threw together on a whim just broken a million views but the ones I am proud of barely have 100

Lol that happens a lot on here too. Most of the stuff everyone works really hard on goes under the radar, then the stuff we made in like 2 secs on the toilet makes the front page lol

I am new and am wondering - is there a way to view another user's likes/dislikes? Or alternately, a way to view, for a given meme, the list of users that voted on it, and what those votes were? Or is it all anonymous?

No but they should add that feature

Well, it would be interesting to see - but probably it makes sense for a viewer's vote to be private, as is often the case in other voting situations. In any case, thanks for the info! :)

I feel your pain. I think you need to be in a certain circle to get many upvotes. These days I make most private and post them on my facebook.

You just need to comment alot and talk to people and be involved. People will pay more attention to your memes and even visit your page just to see them and upvote them if they like.

Very true, if you can follow your memes and comment back quickly the "engery" it creates gives it momentum for 2 reasons. 1: you can engage more users and with that more comments. 2: more comments (especially funny one) the more people stop and hang out. Most of your points end up being from comments and and not (in most cases, there's always exceptions!) from the submitted meme itself. Most importantly, have fun!

Yea i agree completely, thats what makes it fun too, the comments. Because if people just created memes and no way to engage in fun convos wouldnt be all that fun here

The comment section(s) are often absolutely hysterically funny! I usually forget who's and what meme I'm in! I have to hit the "Back" button to remember where the hell I'm at! Lol

Yea, i love going meme for meme with someone, the faster the better! Reallyitsjohn and I have done that so many times, we must have done at least 1000 memes each so far! Lol

Im all over the place with memes, so i cant go fast cause then the comment time restriction. Lets see ive done meme offs with a good amount of people here including you and all i enjoy,i like when those reach the front page, multiple upvotes :D

Mine are always hit or miss, but i don't care how offensive or crude, or sexist mine are! Usually the more they are in the gutter the more responses i get. I'm so moody anyway i don't ever know how I'm going to respond to anything at any given time. Which, of, course, gets me into trouble! Lol

I try to avoid trolls, so i make my memes in a way that people cant take offense. Trolls annoy me lol

I don't either, but that's were my "I don't care" attitude gets me into trouble! Lol I don't always engage my brain before i make a meme. I've been workingon this since Kindergarten, I figure in 20-30 years i may do something about it. Ha ha! :)

True. I have had 3 front page memes, and one of them only made it because there was one obnoxious user who thought I was trolling him.
