Oh, there's no confusion on my part. I know what your point is, I just don't believe it to be true.
The term "gender" has been bastardized since the 70's (David Bowie's gender bender) but the word stems from the Old French meaning "beget, give birth to," and from Latin generare "to engender, beget, produce."
Today, wackos valiantly attempt to change the word to mean "what sex you 'fee' like you are" and are essentially saying that was was actually produced wasn't what was produced.
I'm just one of those who doesn't buy into the pop-psychology that the homosexual/trans groups are selling. Call me a real free thinker rather than someone who believes every little trend that comes along is mainstream.
