Btw, I'm not intending to be a d**k, but the name Socialist has been widely used by political parties for approx the last 100 years.
Socialism is about helping those in need. The only reason it's hated is because it was being headed up by the wrong f**king guy. The arguments against it are like saying "Hillary doesn't smoke, just like HITLER!".
Socialists believe that The People should control things. . . the government, the economy,etc. because the elite are selfish and corrupt. Democrats, since Bill Clinton, are right-wing capitalists.
