Yeah, I added the "with a little fine tuning" in a subsequent comment. Even though precedent is already out there for a forfeiture of rights prior to due process. This could be done with judicial review, and possibly an expiration date if a renewal review is not sought. My point is there are ways to make it work if the two sides could actually talk to each other without degrading into a "you suck, no you suck more" circle jerk. I would also be okay with a reduction in jail time for Kate's law if that truly was the big sticking point (the number of incarcerated persons). Again the could wrap the 2 together and make a real difference instead of just doing all the posturing.
