You're comparing apples and oranges. Police shootings by their very nature implicate dangerous criminal activity that the vast majority of the time requires police to defend themselves with lethal force. Meanwhile radical Islamic Terrorists go out and seek violence on innocent people. Huge difference.

The old days assumptions ended sometime in the early 1980's

Its just like everyone thinks more black people get shot by police, but they don't. The number of non violent unarmed people shot by cops (including in the back) is at record levels. Thats the only way riots can happen.
