Quick question: I know I sound like a noob by asking this, but is there a way I can post a photo comment without turning my meme into a User Template? Like is there a piece of code I can insert into a text comment to make it display one of my images?
Yep! You can either paste an i.imgflip.com image URL directly into your comment, or you can use the "upload your own image" button on the meme generator without checking the box to "allow template in public directory"
