Atheism is the conviction there are no deities period. Not man not any gods/goddesses, aliens. Nothing to worship, pray to, kill for, die for, revere, or tithe. Morality comes from intellect and the evidence of right and wrong. I am sure the theistic history of the world has had a great influence on the morality of mankind good and bad.

The god of atheism is man.

Back when I was an Internet atheist I realized that we had effectively made "not stamp collecting" a new hobby by obsessing over how little we collected stamps.
