The biggest problem I have with liberals is the same one I have with conservatives which is how much of other people's money they like to throw around. I just generally see liberals doing it faster and without at least feigning remorse.

Well, I a) served 12 years in the Marine Corps under the first president Clinton's "don't ask, don't tell" policy, so that's kind of how I've lived my life b) I had a bisexual couple living in my basement and c) my other daughter dated a fine young African-American gentleman that we welcomed into our home the same as any of my other children's SO's.

The moral of the story? Not all conservatives are the knuckle dragging, racist, homophobe, xenophobes that you make them out to be. Maybe, just maybe, some of us see past the labels but are tired of hearing about it 24/7 and we just want to treat people as people? Get it?

I rarely hear a conservative loaded with the hate liberals say they possess. They do exist just like total whackjobs exist on the left. There are differences in what the 2 sides consider helpful and what is helpful to the most people. I will not argue that the left wants to the right thing. However the left will almost always try to paint me as a warmongering, child, elderly, sick and environment hater because I am a conservative. This is where they loose credibility outside of their own group of cheerleaders.
