One of my favorite deployments in 22 years of the U.S. Marine Corps was at Cold Lake, Canada for Operation Maple Flag back in the 80s. Great people, great food, and great beer. We even got a three day weekend in the middle of the op for the Queen's Birthday. We went into Edmonton and PARTIED!
