It seems to be that the memes which include a photo of Hillary herself are the ones getting censored (at least with me).

Are you using custom templates with Hillary? I used to have that problem, but have resorted to already approved templates and since then, they all feature in 1-2 hours. Custom political templates seem to be more of a sticking point with the mods and more open to personal bias in my experience.

Yeah, custom mostly, and cropping her into various crime commiting acts, cropping her head onto monsters etc, lol. I'll try the site templates.

I think it's funny how liberals keep bringing up Trump's quotes about McCain, when the same liberals were bashing him just as bad if not worse when he was running against Obama.
reply

False, no Democratic candidate in 2008 attacked McCain's military service.

But Democrats DID. With impunity from the media as always.

Senator Al Franken, told Salon.com, “I have tremendous respect for McCain but I don’t buy the war hero thing. Anybody can be captured. I thought the idea was to capture them. As far as I’m concerned he sat out the war.”

In fact, it appears that Trump stole the idea from Chris Rock.

“He a war hero that got captured,” Rock said during an HBO standup special. “There’s a lot of guys in jail that got captured. I don’t want to vote for nobody that got captured. I want to vote for the m*****f***er that got away!”

Rock, a huge supporter of President Obama, was never universally condemned or even asked to apologize.

That’s probably because even senior Democratic leaders were saying almost the exact same thing, such as former General and presidential candidate Wesley Clark on CBS’s Face the Nation.

I was a BIG McCain supporter & spent bucks (which I didn't have) to get him elected back then. You didn't even need to "buy" the war hero thing (he is). I saw that he was coming up at the end to catch up--but I think on the curve he needed another week. Sarah Palin was a mistake & and saying the economy was solid was a mistake.

1) Lol, try to escape the radical right echo chamber-- did you even watch the Wesley Clark interview? It makes perfect sense, PLUS he says " I certainly honor his service as a prisoner-of-war, he was a hero to me and to hundreds of thousands and millions of others in the Armed Forces..."
2) The other two who you mention are comedians doing comedy bits (Franken was not a Senator then, he was a satirist and comedian, which the bit in which he mentions McCain clearly is)-- comedy is not pretty, and is meant to pull strings. Unless Trump is running for comedian-in-chief, what he said shows the kind of two-faced person he is, denigrating McCain's serving while he(Trump) skipped out with a "medical" excuse (after years of "high draft number" excuse, suddenly it's "bone spurs in both feet").
3) Again-- not one of the Democratic Party's official candidates in 20008, 2012, nor 2016 said "He's not a war hero." That was Trump that said that, the GOP candidate, WHILE he was running for office.

Lol, and you fell right into the trap-- so you are saying in your opinion it's not okay ever to say it, even if a comedian doing a bit? Well, Trump said it in full seriousness, so you must really despise him for it, right?
reply

Lola, and YOU fell right into the trap. I can disagree with someone without despising him. He (and the others) shouldn't have said it. I have a problem with the idea while you have a problem with the position of the person saying it. If Trump was running against Hillary as a Democrat, you wouldn't have an issue with it.

Lol, keep telling yourself that as you try to deflect deflect deflect from facing what he has said as you vote for the mendacious Trump-- he who said it and who has said much much worse-- you'll surely be able to find a deflect target for each of the insane and evil tihings trump has said-- but with him you get them all in one person, huzzah! Here, have another bit of his insanity, basically about how dumb he thinks his supporters are:
"I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and I could shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose voters."
"
2 ups, 3y
It's obvious YOU just don't get it. I'm not defending Trump. YOU'RE defending someone saying the exact same words solely on the basis of their position. It's called hypocrisy. I see it. Others see it. Your partisanship has you blinded.
reply
2 ups, 3y
What difference does it make that Franken wasn't a senator when he said that? Is he two different people just because of having two different jobs? No, he shared the sentiments of many liberals who attacked McCain in any way that they could because he was running against Obama. I remember it. The fact of the matter is, liberals who are now conveniently attacking Trump for saying "mean things" about McCain, are the same people who attacked McCain themselves because they were so loyal to Obama. Are you denying that?
reply
3 ups, 3y
I wasn't talking about Democratic candidates...I'm talking about liberals who attacked him when he was running against Obama, but now are hypocrites for calling Trump out for doing the same thing. I remember liberals even calling McCain a war-mongerer back in '08.

She's playing with an old political playbook. Trump beat 16 contenders by throwing that book out the window and writing his own.
Play #1 - call them racists
Play #2 - call them anti-women
Play #3 - call them bigots
Play #4 - say "they want to kill granny and papa"
Play #5 - they want to kill all minorities
Play #6 - they want to destroy the environment
Play #7 - they are greedy and selfish (but Hillary is the paragon of virtue)
Play #8 - they will destroy the economy and your job
Play #9 - they are only "for the rich"
Play #10 - we are on your side despite 100 years that contradict that statement.

NO OTHER NOMINEE would dare challenge Hillary and the Dems like Trump will.

There must be liberal classes that teach this somewhere. I've yet to discuss any subject with a liberal without being called a bigot...especially discussing Islam... They're just foaming at the mouth waiting to call you a racist bigot for saying anything bad about Islam.

Actually, what she said about Benghazi near the end of the endless Republican fishing expedition was sensible and compelling-- so much so that it shut the GOP questioner down cold:

"Johnson: No, again, we were misled that there were supposedly protests and that something sprang out of that -- an assault sprang out of that -- and that was easily ascertained that that was not the fact, and the American people could have known that within days and they didn’t know that.

Clinton: With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided that they’d they go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator. Now, honestly, I will do my best to answer your questions about this, but the fact is that people were trying in real time to get to the best information. The IC has a process, I understand, going with the other committees to explain how these talking points came out. But you know, to be clear, it is, from my perspective, less important today looking backwards as to why these militants decided they did it than to find them and bring them to justice, and then maybe we’ll figure out what was going on in the meantime.

Johnson: OK. Thank you, Madame Secretary."

As a relative moderate...I saw parts of that hearing. Hillary utterly destroyed the arguments against her. The Republicans looked like idiots in that case; I have hardly seen anything that obvious in my life. See my comments about McCain here elsewhere, whom I supported. I appreciate your views, often disagreeing OR agreeing.

I am a moderate also-- I was leaning toward McCain until he let his d** pick his VP, then everytime that airhead spoke I knew there was no way he could win. Since Obama had Biden as his VP, I voted for him.

Republican, democrat, what's the difference anymore? There are members of the establishment on both sides. The Clintons are very powerful and have a lot of influence. Why do you think all these primaries are being rigged in her favor and NOBODY is doing anything about it, not even Obama who clearly has the power to step in if he wanted to. He won't though, because he's a part of said establishment.

The mods aren't necessarily incompetent or partisan, they just don't run everything on this site. There are too many memes for a couple humans to keep up with, so the algorithms take memes based on who made them and how popular they are. If it isn't popular, it might not make it. If the maker isn't well known, it might not make it. If it's too much like other memes already on the front page, it might not make it.
Don't blame the mods for something they may not have the time, power, or desire to influence.
Just a little food for thought.
