1) Lol, try to escape the radical right echo chamber-- did you even watch the Wesley Clark interview? It makes perfect sense, PLUS he says " I certainly honor his service as a prisoner-of-war, he was a hero to me and to hundreds of thousands and millions of others in the Armed Forces..."
2) The other two who you mention are comedians doing comedy bits (Franken was not a Senator then, he was a satirist and comedian, which the bit in which he mentions McCain clearly is)-- comedy is not pretty, and is meant to pull strings. Unless Trump is running for comedian-in-chief, what he said shows the kind of two-faced person he is, denigrating McCain's serving while he(Trump) skipped out with a "medical" excuse (after years of "high draft number" excuse, suddenly it's "bone spurs in both feet").
3) Again-- not one of the Democratic Party's official candidates in 20008, 2012, nor 2016 said "He's not a war hero." That was Trump that said that, the GOP candidate, WHILE he was running for office.
