Not necessarily. Sometimes people develop contrary to their chromosomes. But if you have a p**is, you are a male (even if you are an effeminate one) and if you have a va**na you are a female (even if you are a masculine one). For most things, gender is a non-issue. The only aspect of life where you gender really matters is for sexual relationships (and sometimes it's not even important then, depending on the people involved).
