The way tipsy_taylor phrased his title it almost sounds like I'm the crusader for making people look at the Latest stream, and he's helping me out! But it's actually more like the other way around. For a long time on imgflip I didn't even know there was a Latest stream!

Hey Socrates I have a meme that's important to me and I don't want it lost in the latest flotsam. It's for Memorial Day. May I post a link on one of your memes to promote it. I'm not asking for upvotes just views.

I don't have a problem with that.

Posting links to it doesn't guarantee it won't get lost anyway, though. But I hope people see it, if it's important to you.

It's a Grumpy Cat meme in space and it's a perfectly decent meme (in fact, I think it's pretty funny), but somehow it went almost completely unnoticed on imgflip.

It's on page 138 of Latest right now. When I first saw it, it didn't have a single upvote, and it had less than 20 views.

I know I missed it. Therein lies the problem. We all can't be on all day, but collectively we can. 24 * 60 = 1440 / 100 (users) = 14.4 minutes a day. I know there's at least 250 users a day so that's less than 7 minutes to spend looking at the latest section. I spend about 30 minutes. At least the first three pages on the latest section per visit. But that still means I miss 50+ memes submitted. It's tough to be so active.
