200 bucks a month to her vs billions in subsidies to Boeing for instance.

You're mad at the wrong people.

There are a whole list of parasites we could be mad at... but... that isn't going to change anything... this isn't about rich versus poor it's about a small powerful group of people that see us as cattle to be milked to further their own power... The distraction is playing group against group... and it works quite well...

I fight for principles not the created (Communist- Socialist) paradigm of rich versus poor... that's how the power hungry win... My multimillionaire employer doesn't owe the power hungry elite or the parasitical poor anything... and neither do I...the point is that politicians are busy... they aren't doing nothing... and... we would be better off if they did a lot less... They are busy milking us for their corporate masters...Defend and protect the Constitution... Less Government- more freedom...

I agree. It's funny how peoe think more legislation will control the "problem". They play into killing small business and creating Monopolies because large Corporations are the only ones who can lobby effectively and afford to continue. Get rid of the need to lobby, cut corporate tax and remove stupid restrictions and things will improve.

My son sent me this address. We are both both politically inclined and are very careful about who we vote for. This site is the latest write up, that I'm aware of, to make you shake your head in disbelief.

And the annual handouts of 37 billion to the fossile fuel industry
http://priceofoil.org/fossil-fuel-subsidies/

At least alternative energies are NEW(er). If you can't make fossil fuels be viable without subsidies by now....something is wrong.

That number is globally. The US recently filled out3.2 billion to fossil fuels and 7.2 billion to renewables. Guess which had a failed return on investment.

Where are those numbers from?

CBO
4 ups, 8y
That's oil only...not the blanket "fossil fuel" number which includes coal. Btw. Coal by far gets the prime cut. All told world wide with coal and natural gas, etc. It is done 434 billion

Who would have thought a right wing tax leech hypocrite (Fox news junkie) would think CNN is biased.

Lol, I hate fox news. In fact, I hate any biased news source, conservative or liberal. Unlike you, my dear liberal friend, I'm quite capable of forming my own opinions, not having them spoon-fed to me by Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper. I read both liberal and conservative news outlets because as of yet, I have not found an unbiased source, so I'm forced to use them all.

It's true. Every news... is biased. Is there a way to form an unbiased news channel? ... oh.
1 up, 8y,

While I normally agree with conservative news sources, I don't just flat out believe whatever they say because it will obviously have a conservative tilt and may have omitted details. However, most of the time I find liberal sources to be more biased towards their agenda, but I still don't like either form of reporting.

If you're going to constantly go to bat for liberal ideals, say so and stop making yourself look like a moronic "unbiased news source". likewise, if you're going to constantly defend conservative principles, make that clear upfront.

And seriously, why do liberals hate fox news so much? At BEST fox is moderate. I mean, why don't you guys just go back to ABC and watch the Obama/Hillary lovefests and let the rest of us watch other, reliable sources lol

What my brother does is he visits multiple news sites and then forms his *own* opinion. It's a wise tactic IMO.

I watch fox news too much. It's comedy to me. Then I watch cnn, bbc, and listen to npr/bbc. I read nyt and huffpo among others. I refuse to entertain the alex Joneses et al of the "news" world.
