That was the only pic I could find of internet grandma without her hand in front of her face. I'm getting decent but I sure can't photoshop out a hand and replace part of a face lol. The back of her head is kinda flat though it's the first time I used it. Glad you liked it that's why I do this :)

Maybe you can give me tips? Someone told where to go once for photoshopping but I lost it 500 comments ago.

I use freephototool.com, I think it was me that told you but I get it, hard to keep track of all the comments around here ;) The key is making stuff with the png background so you can transfer it, other than that you just zoom way in and try to keep you hand steady as you erase. I'm still learning stuff myself so I'm sure there are things it can do I don't know yet but I will :)

Hey Jying- I tried freephototool.com but I don't know if the problem is working from an iPad or just the user LOL. My question is about the png images. I collected a number of them with the checkerboard background but when I use the "add image" feature on img, I still see the background. Would you mind, kind sir, telling me what I'm doing wrong? I already owe John a beer, so if you don't mind terribly, I'll buy you one (or several too) :)

The only thing I can think of is they might be saved under jpg instead of png maybe.. If they don't day png at the end imgflip will read them as a regular pic. You can change that at phototool pretty easy, I think all mine say png now no matter what. If it's not that I am at a loss for the moment, it sounds like you are doing it right.

Upvotes and what page it makes doesn't make a good meme, they are just what happens when the timing is right for people to see it. I don't think most of the upvotes that get a meme up front come from the people making them. There are people that have accounts and never submit anything, they just come here and copy stuff to post or text with and we never know who they are. I think they upvote the most and if your meme is in a decent spot when enough people are looking for that type of meme you get the votes. Doesn't mean you didn't make a good meme if you don't, just means the people that like the type of memes you make didn't get to see it. Just my opinion but it's so random nothing else makes sense to me.

No I agree the time it submits and if people see it defo make a difference for sure. I've seen so many great memes with like 3 upvotes and no comments and I'm like how did that get missed :s

That's why reposts can make the front page 3 or 4 times over time, there is no way for everybody to see everything. I just make stuff I like to make and hope for the best, do what makes you happy and you never lose.

I wouldn't do that to her, she puts up with enough no need to push it. I don't want too much personal stuff on here, I'm too open as it is. Have you seen the guy in the latest stream always making memes with pic of him in his car and something like.. Me waiting on my crush or something relating to his crush every time? I've got one meme with my son in it and it's at the zoo, I have never warned or been warned about it by anyone. I guess I just like that our interactions on here are mostly about the memes. This place is like my escape, my work is extremely boring unless I'm writing but that's not what pays most of my bills. There's been times I'm typing on one hand on my work pc and trying to post a meme comment on here with the other haha! I'm pretty lucky to do what I do, but like most jobs people pay you to do it because that's the only way to get somebody to.

I think maybe socrates and an other warned me maybe? My work let's me check in on img mostly but this Friday and Saturday it will be go go go so less img time :( . So expect a major comment spree when I'm free lol. I was in the midst of writing another play until I joined place :D

That's cool I've never written plays, not surprised this isn't your first outlet for creativity. Being able to add a visual with it is still a combination I don't always get right. It's a lot of fun trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.

I'm working on getting better at Photoshop. I have a meme in the works as soon as I'm happy with the editing LOL
