I can't remember if you mentioned you were a vet or not.

I am not, unfortunately that was an ager of extreme substance abuse. that's well in the past so I try to appreciate enough now to make up for lost time.

Well, you come off as the vet type, so that's a good thing.

I have Lots of respect for them. especially with my oldest working on year 7 of his career. There's a lot of sacrifice just in the day-to-day life for him and his family. He would probably do well in civilian life with his skill set and education, but the Army makes him happy.

They are the reasons we aren't speaking German under an evil communist regime, so I tend to thank them every chance I get.

No, not a joke. If it weren't for our vets (world war 2) we would be speaking German. Not sure where the confusion on that is.

Yes, I completely agree with you..but the confusion is that during world war 2 we were fighting Nazi Germany which had a Totalitarianism government...So I think you mean if it weren't for our veterans we would be speaking german under an evil facist,Totalitarianism regime.
