Second. It was a big deal because it was less than a week after a dozen kids got trampled at a Who concert in Cincinnati, OH. This concert was the first "festival seating" concert in Ohio immediately after that, so the bloodthirsty news crews were out there taping it, hoping that lightning would strike twice.
It was awesome though, because my best friend was supposed to go, but his parents wouldn't let him, so he got to see me on the 11:00 news.
It sucked for us because we got in line at about noon. The Toledo Sports Arena was directly off of the Maumee River and the December wind was wicked! My cousin had to call his Dad to pick him up, couldn't hang in the cold.
It was also the last concert that the original KISS lineup played until their reunion days. Peter Criss left shortly after that.
