That reminds me of the street where I grew up. The newer houses were all 3/2 with an additional 1/2 bath in the garage. Just a toilet and a basin. Several folks tiled the room, added a shower head and put a drain in the floor so it somewhat looked like that picture. Of course, when I grew up folks did a lot of their own work so a shower in the garage was handy so as not to be tracking grease and such into the house. :-)
