No kidding. in 2014 they passed a law upping the top tax rate on "high income" individuals. Many businesses left the state, taking their jobs with them. For certain things like fast food, I think more automation will be in the future. For items that definitely need a human, I think those will leave the state too. For companies that service a local area and can't relocate, higher wages will mean higher prices. CA currently has a $10/hr min wage. They are talking about raising it 50%. These dumbasses don't realize you can't increase labor costs by 50% without causing inflation. I guess that's to be expected from people who graduate high school yet can't balance a checkbook.

The scary part is Hillary or Bernie would do it on a national level.

I heard on the news and read on line that minimum wage was lifted to $15.00 in Washington state and many people who received it were asking their bosses for less hours because no they won't qualify for state aid.

LOL, I bet that was a shock to them!

To be honest, Bernie and Hillary are doing us a favor; Fast food workers are jerks... Chikfila is the only place I've gone were they treat theor cutomers like they actually want you to come back.

I agree with you about Chikfila. They actually train their people how to be more than just order takers or perform menial tasks. I would say the same about In-N-Out burger. I think that they provide better service while helping their employees learn life skills.

The only problem with chikfila is it's expensive (I go there quite rarely). But it is nice to have someone who makes you feel comfortable while you're ordering and not treat you like you're their ex or something. Imo, it's better for your business if your employees treat the customers well. I even saw one of chikfila's employees helping an elderly person the other day while he (the employee) was leaving. It's little stuff like that that will put you ahead of your competition.

Really? Do you get a friends and family discount? rofl.. Tbh, I like chikfila because

1. Their food doesn't taste like their competitors (Crap), in fact it's actually quite good

2. The employees are so helpful and nice there. Honestly, it's such a huge difference fron the "Order up and get outta here b*tch" attitude that I get from other places

3. Their bathrooms. They actually keep them clean.

Yeah, it's better in all areas. We get no discount but he does so he has to pay when we all go and it's only for dine in. He does get a substantial discount on the platters too (they obviously can be consumed off premises).
