I was starting to wonder why more people do speak out about the problems with this site, but I have figured it out.

Bro seriously, stop this whole "Everyone is against me you're all making it personal" etc. If you just made your original memes, ask some people to give it an uv if it's having trouble featuring. Sometimes if you include a non-original template in your original template it will feature faster. Anyways, screaming and cursing at people in comment threads (And no, there us no excuse for that) won't help you bro. Just loosen up, have fun and don't attack people who don't agree with you; You'll live longer and probably be a lot happier ;D

All I was trying to bring up is where my original memes were getting featured at. All you people were trying to claim my complaint was how long it takes for them to get featured, and you are still doing that. So even more proof that you haven't been paying attention, which is why I have been getting frustrated and pissed off. As you will see to my response to sewmyeyesshhut, this one already has 35 views and started on page 1 of the latest memes. If it was my original, it wouldn't have that in 24 hours because it will start on page 9 of the latest. That is the problem I have been trying to get you people to see but instead you keep turning a blind eye to it.

So I gave you a meme of mine to track, sure it featured in less than 4 hours, but it still featured on page 6 which as far as I know, is much closer to page 9 than page 1...thereby proving you wrong about where my memes start out at....I'll give you another one tomorrow morning and this time I'll make it a little more my ORIGINAL style, if that doesn't feature on any page higher than 6...what are you gonna say then? I will admit to one thing for sure, the two memes that I've made about you, including the user template one this morning featured faster than any of my memes usually do...that alone tells me the mods probably don't like you and they're not listening to anything you have to say...

Why should I even bother? You refuse to answer my questions and you are just going to give some lame ass excuse if it starts on anything earlier than 6. So here let me make it simple for you. If it starts on pages 1-5, you are being given special treatment. If it starts on anything past that, there is an obvious problem with how the admins are treating original memes. You won't care if it gets fixed or not because you get enough traffic to your memes, so you are obviously going to say it is not an issue that needs to be resolved. I say it needs to be resolved because not everyone has 16 hours a day they can spend on this site, so therefore your suggestion of doing massive amount of meme comments isn't practical for everyone. Not to mention, making a massive amount of meme comments then gets mixed around in your memes you want to submit, so then you have to take even more time to sift thru those to find the ones you want to submit. So if I was to then suggest we need a way to filter meme comments from the created memes, are you going to disagree because I stated that idea and say that it isn't really a problem?

As far as your last statement, why not the possibility that they are giving you special treatment because they don't want to risk loosing top users?

I will fully admit that there's a problem with the way admins treat original memes...I hate the fact that it takes an average of 8-12 hours to feature an original template, that is definitely flawed...How it affects my memes, I don't know...I for one don't know where my memes usually start out on the latest stream, cuz I'm usually at work when they feature. My job doesn't afford me the time to check on the status that often...that's why I decided to give you what you want and let you track some of my memes...you got me wondering too...And sure...it's possible that the admins cater to popular users like myself, I haven't seen any clear cut proof of that as of yet, but if they are, what are we supposed to do about it?

And you are also right in the fact that, as of the way things are right now, regardless of where my memes start, my popularity guarantees that they will be seen...I will not apologize for that because I earned that popularity. I didn't ask for it either, it was placed upon me.

The fact remains that the way the site operates at the present time, the only way I can see to circumvent the way your memes get seen is to "play the game". I realize you don't have the time for that, but if you have a better solution, I'm all ears. But I know one thing for sure, I have never EVER gotten a response from admins in an email. The only time Acuity12 ever contacted me was on my "meme comment tab" meme...other than that, the admins have never listened to me either....so if you don't have time to "play the game", I don't know what to tell you dude...

There is a solution, and that is for enough people to speak up about it and let them know that not only is it a problem but it henders different users. They won't listen to individuals, but if they were smart they would listen to a group.

I don't plan on tracking any more memes because at this point it is not going to prove anything to anyone. In fact I am done with original memes because it is a wasted submission at this point until the admins respond by fixing it.

So all three of your memes are on page one of latest, for now. In an hour they'll be down to page 4, by noon cst, they'll be page 10-15, and I suspect not alot of ups or views. You say you figured it out, let's hear it. What is your idea on "fixing" the problem?

And look at the views right now, 35. If this was one of my original memes, it would be lucky to get that many in 24 hours since they are placed on page 9 or later. I don't expect these 3 to get upvotes, but do predict that you are going to gather your people together to downvote them so they go back to submission in order to silence me.

Whoa whoa there. I dont gather troops, and I dont try and manipulate users on who to hate on. I work alone. Yes I have friends on here but I let eveyone make their own up n down vote choices. H20 brought up getting help to get a meme out of submissions and occassionally we do that for eachother. But you gotta be nice to people and make friends. I get that alot too where I think I created the funniest meme ever, but only gets 30-40 views. So how do you propose to fix that?

I never stated I had a solution for anything, just that I have only identified the problems. And like I keep having to tell you people, this has nothing to do with the amount of time it takes to get submitted, which means that the solution to the problem I have been stating for a while now is not getting other people to upvote your meme to get it to featured status faster. What is it about that statement that you refuse to understand?

Well, I dont know what to tell you. Try contacting mods and see what they tell you, if they respond. The top users get alot of traffic because they're nice and funny and have bin here awhile. You attract more flys with honey than salty flame wars.

That is why I have stopped doing any originals now. I might just stick with blank memes. 8-)

I think that generally speaking, people don't like to see memes that complain about imgflip or other users. But a negative reaction to those kinds of memes is not a personal attack.

Hi all. I'm a newish user. I've had one front page meme. It was nice to see something I had made on the front page. I enjoyed my little bit of fame. I have interacted with the popular contributors via the front pages of hot memes. I look at the latest memes and I flip images. I upvote good memes, good comments and comments I agree with from contributors I think deserve some support. I have no special desire to get to the front page again. I don't think my memes are good, or relevant, enough for this audience. I don't care where my new articles appear. If they are good, popular users will pick up on them, and comment, drawing in comments from other popular users, which generates views from the wider community. I'm happy slowly getting more points, I don't even bother to submit every day, that's how much I don't care. I do get that it's irksome to have your brand new meme appearing seemingly at random on latest, there's no telling what page it'll be on, or when it'll be featured, but, I, personally don't care. I will upvote well made memes and comments raising this as an issue, but, my support goes no further than that. Sorry if anyone feels that is letting the side down.
