ok i'm sorry but if I don't make this clear I am going to peel my face off and tear it into a million pieces ;p the ultimate point here is that, a million dollars is not a small loan, and you need to be an arrogant chunk-monk to think that a million dollar loan is small ;p and most of us could live pretty go***amn good with a million dollar loan ;p so calling it small is an asshole thing to do ;D don't worry though i wasn't telling people not to vote for your precious trump XD unless you consider $1,000,000 to not be a "small" loan, then my premise is perfectly sound :D :D $1,000,000 relative to reality, not relative to what he has now ;x

And, you're right, a million isn't small. I'm working for minimum wage (but only because Michigan raised the minimum wage to what I'm earning).

My point was that whether he got the loan from his father or from a bank, a business loan that is built upon and paid back does not diminish a business person's personal accomplishment. There are only a small percentage of successful businesses that DIDN'T start with a loan of some kind.
