If there are a lot of comments it's difficult to find the reply you want to see.

If you click on the white space within the comment box then all the following comments in the thread will disappear. It might be a bit trickier on a phone but try it :)

Didn't work

It worked for me. There maybe some technical reason for it not working for you. I clicked inside H2O's comment and all the replies disappeared and the same when I clicked inside your first comment. It may be different on a phone but it worked before with my ancient phone. Maybe someone else can confirm that it works or why is doesn't for you.

Clicking in the white area of a comment box is not what I'm talking about. If I go to the drop down of numbered replies at top left of screen and click on a certain reply the site takes you to the middle of the comments of that meme. Not the comment you want to see.

I get that. But if you remove comments then you can find the one you're looking for a bit easier.

I get what you mean. NotU still makes a very valid point though.

It always takes me to the right spot, unless it's a reply to a comment that has been hidden, or unless the meme has too many comments (not sure exactly how many)

When I clicked on your notification it went to the middle of the comments on this meme. I had to scroll down to see your reply. Maybe you're special?

I just clicked the above notification and it went to the same spot as last time. Oh well.

Sometimes refreshing the page works, sometimes it doesn't. And of course it won't get to those hidden comments that were downvoted.

Well, technically it does, however the images in the meme comments shift the comment down. Infinitely more annoying on a slow connection, believe you me.

But it already does that for me...

Lucky you. I wonder why it works for some and not others. You can see by the replies on this meme that there are many having the same problem as I.

Perhaps it depends on how strong the internet connection is, what browser your using, or what device your on

I'm on a PC with Xfinity business connection. Don't think you can get any faster. As soon as I click on the notification it flies directly to the meme then scrolls to the middle of the comments in about a nanosecond. Definitely not the connection or OS.
