Jackie Chan WTF

I remember when something similar happened to The_Colorful_Cat a while back. She made a meme about how frustrated she was with the downvote fairies that she was thinking of quitting imgflip. That meme (and a couple of her next ones after that) went straight to the front page. Lol.

Same thing basically happened to me.. I made a random meme about liking imgflip a lot (Randomly so I could keep my 3 submissions the next day; I had run out of ideas) And it made it to the front page. Its very weird, but I guess when a lot of people agree with you you get tons of upvotes! ;D

Yeah, I think if people can relate to the experience they'll give it an upvote.

Yeah I think that's just a human tendency, we gravitate towrds things we are fammiliar with / can relate to

Also it feels good when we see someone expressing something we feel but we haven't expressed ourselves. Then upvoting becomes a way of expressing it - kind of like a "Yeah! Me too!" They're giving us a vehicle to express something we feel.
