I think we should have more complex statistics about our memes, telling us what kinds of people like or don't like it, and the view-to up/down votes they all get., possibly in a pleasing bar graph format.

Imgflip should reinstate the downvote, but only the meme's creator can see them. Downvotes would have no effect but to show the creator how many people do and don't like their memes.

I'd like them to tell me the order hot memes disappear from the front page of hot. One would think things just 'cool' and move down the ranks as memes with more likes and comments get hotter, but that seems not be the case.

I wouldn't mind some kind of thing like "folders" or bookmarks where we could keep track of favorite memes, or memes in certain categories more easily. Kind of like memestreams, but with the ability to "share" other people's memes straight into the memestreams.

One thing I've said is it'd be cool if users could search through their images by template/category (gifs, demotivators, custom).

Yeah, definitely, I agree with that. I delete images regularly (mostly to keep the number down to make it easier for me and others to search through).

But I meant more, keeping track of others' memes you like. Right now I could make a memestream of my favorite memes on imgflip, but if they got upvoted, I would get the points (which is kind of lame). It would be cool if I could just make a 'Favorites' memestream or two (maybe different topics etc) and just corral other people's memes into them, to make it easier to look back on memes I've liked, and that way if it gets upvotes they get the points.
