Mine thought that for 3 years
When I was 13 14 and 15 they wouldn't let me celebrate halloween

Halloween (All Hallows Eve) is the eve (day before) All Souls Day, which is a Catholic holiday.

So when people who call themselves Christian say that Halloween is a satanic holiday, they don't know what they are talking about.

I could get way further into this, but I'm gonna restrain myself before I spend way too much time typing just for a bunch of ignorant people to either tell me that Catholics "aren't Christian" or say they ain't readin' allat.

I mean I can KINDA understand why people think dressing up half naked and going to 3 different partys getting drunk and losing the big V is bad, but like just let them kids get some candy

I js find it ironic that parents tell you don’t walk up to strangers and go with them if they offer you candy and then look what they have their kids do 🙁 Makes perfect sense

my family does not celebrate Halloween, but my cousins, great aunts and uncles, and I do (I secretly celebrate it myself)
