Old Pay Phone | Iโ€™d walk along the boardwalk

I also used my metal detector on the beach. All the quarters, no matter how brown, went into the arcade machines. Iโ€™m sure they loved me ๐Ÿ˜

You Guys are Getting Paid | They had metal detectors back then? | image tagged in you guys are getting paid | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Lol. When I was a kid, I thought only old guys had them. O think they were a bit more expensive then too. But that's a great idea! I wish I had thought of that... Good to see you, Rickey!๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘

Lol, I had a metal detector as a kid. I went through several models including a used job. Iโ€™ve found enough that I made more than I paid. Iโ€™ve also been able to help people find stuff that they lost. A wedding band some guy lost on the beach, and my Dadโ€™s wedding ring that he lost while dumping leaves in the woods. I still have two detectors, one of which I found sticking out of the trash. I donโ€™t use them much, but take it with me to the beach, just in case I get the urge. This is me in the photo. I was on a dune in North Carolina. That detector was the top model I bought years ago. I knew I guy that had a dealer gig with the manufacturer. To keep it, he had to move several of the top models a year. He let me buy it at cost, which was a great deal ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘

Awesome! I'd love to have one. So many beaches close to where I live. Only right now I would never have the time... Have you found any good old coins with it?
