This reminds me of one time vacationing in Puerto Rico a gazillion years ago, me and my little cousin were riding bikes and there was this section of forest on the side of the beach right at the edge of town, so he said there was a trail, actually a dirt road, so if I wanted to go. So we're riding around and this forest looked a heckuva lot bigger once we were inside that it did from the street outside. It was the TARDIS of forests (mostly palms).
Anyways it's winding around, was taking forever to get from one side to the other but they were puddles here and there. And it was clay soil, so the puddles look like the water in that stream in your GIF.
So we're approaching one, and it's occupying the width of this one lane dirt road, and as we're getting to it and my cousin's making to go right straight through it, I tell him that I don't know, that one looks like in may very well be a tad bit deeper deeper than what it appears to be. So my cousin shrugs his shoulders and says, that's okay, and he keeps pedaling.
So now he's going through the puddle and then, choonk, he tries to pedal, but it's stopping, choonk, he tries, but it's stopping, choo... choo... totally stops, my cousin is trying to keep his balance, finally teeters over and he falls into the muddy puddle which basically was halfway up his bike wheels and now so was he and that was that.
So I stood on the edge and laughed at him for a a good bit before helping him out.
