June Is A Month That's It

If nobody told them "it's pride month" "it's dinosaur month" it's men's mental health month" etc none of them would be "celebrating "
people are just being programmed as usual
you don't need a month to appreciate or celebrate something that's important or is supposed to be important

Awareness months aren't meant to replace year round support. They're meant to start conversations that might not happen otherwise. We don't stop caring on July 1st, just like we don't only care about cancer during awareness months.

I think it's like for fun... like a holiday.

In my opinion, mental health is one of the most important things in the world. That’s why women and men have their own months for mental health, being May and June. As a woman, I think that everybody should choose their own path, of course. But I can’t understand why most people celebrate an actual, serious mental problem over mental health.
Over 500,000 men die a year from committing (you know what). Men struggle significantly in life, and their month of June is being overlooked by “Pride Month.”
What’s worse is that I see other WOMEN online acting like men’s mental health doesn’t matter, but it does.
I respect others, but I think that June should prioritize men and their struggles over people who need help.

I think you have a good point. Pride month 10001% overshadows any awareness of mental health. It would be nice if the average pride parade organizers would address it, but usually theyre way more focused on partying. Meanwhile men gay or not struggle hard with mental health daily. The gay guys I know would never go march with pride but they def seem like theyd be interested in learning about mens mental health. Thats part of how I know theyre actually truly gay.

Mental Health is way way WAY more important that people think it is, it can destroy a person from the inside, yet we can't see it, and they mostly always suffer alone in darkness, i've seen so many people calling mental health as "baloney" because they can't physically see any complications, they act like a normal person, they speak like a normal person, they look like a normal person but deep down only the guy who is struggling mental health complications knows the burden of carrying such weight in their mind, to the point that they start wondering if not existing at all is better for both them and their loved ones. Sure it's ok to support LGBTQ and even some of them may have mental health issues, but if you joke about it and make it sound like something cool and catchy or blatantly disagree with mental health you're a moron

it should be just 1 month (may) & drop the "Men's"

yeah, i don't fully agree with pride month either. but then, we will never understand women, will we?
