This is why, when I become a lawyer, I'm going to deny cases that can't provide actual proof they didn't do it. Like, if the child says it was her/him, I will do one of three things; take the case and just defend the child (and lose my job for a good cause), act as a shitty lawyer and get them arrested, or deny the case.

I hate when parents don't believe their child after the child says they were "touched" or whatever. When they are young, they can't even make up stuff like that, so they obviously wouldn't lie about being molested.

It's happened quite a bit in my family, yet nobody believes anyone. It's really sad, so I'll always believe someone unless I have a reason to think they're lying.

I do believe in the innocent until proven guilty thing, but I don't know how lawyers can live with themselves if the person they are defending truly is a pedophile.

its because our parents raised us to be the "nice guy" submissive, never questions anything, easy to manipulate. as a result, we think that we should beleive the woman as a form of respect. (i use "we" very poorly in this context)

we shouuld do guilty until proven innocent. then hide all evidence or the pedophile's nonexistent innocence
