While criticism can be destructive if deployed vague and destructive, (for example: "your shading sucks") it can also be very useful for growth if done constructively.
(This is probably not a good example, but "I notice that the shadows on the surfaces seem to come from nonsensical directions. What if you instead tried to establish the placement of the lights, so that you can make shadows that more accurately portrays where it would be shining in the environment?") Look up Constructive Criticism, since there are probably better sources to explain it.
I made this meme out of annoyance at how most comments on any online art piece (no matter how bad) is just "amazing art", or "peak", since most people (including myself) who think of an art piece in a negative way will not comment their true thoughts, in (rightful) fear of hurting the creator's feelings or simply not knowing what advice to give.
I also wanted to over-exaggerate for fun.
Being brutal without the artist ever provoking such behavior, nor you even giving a warning is a pretty bad thing to do. I can agree with that.
The true loser was the friends we made along the way.
