Wait, it's an optical illusion. When the cameraman walks closer to the tree, it doesn't align perfectly with the ground behind it.

If you haven't spotted it, check out the youtube short in comments 😁

It is ai, first off, tag says ai, at the start it looks floating and when he goes back it is obviously printed

I think you're right. The background moves to start with, then just before she touches the tree, the background freezes, and when the camera moves back, it stays frozen.

The answer lies in the shadows. It is AI

IF it is not, i don't know how to explain the wind occurring at different times for her legs and her head too. The shadows of her pants while she walks have a smoke like fog around it when the pants flap open from the "breeze"? Also the sign behind her has no shadow. Also near the end the deep shadow that appears behind her by the red/yellow/black/white blurry object that comes into frame at the very end has no source. It wouldn't be the shadow of the sign because the angle would be about 30 degrees off of the rest of the light sources. It is also much darker and if we use the shadows from the tree farther away we can see the depth of shadow from an object that far away would be much more washed in light. That shadow is also on the left side of the thing behind her, so it could not be the source. If there was another light source to compensate for that shadow then her and the trees shadow would be washed.

Looking more closely, that deep shadow matches an edge/curb, so if that is a dip there it does make sense. I was convinced it was AI to start with but now I am not so sure. There is also a slight glimpse of the shadow for the sign but it washes out in the grass. The thing is the shadow on the trees right side is still suspect as it doesn't appear until later. I have changed to relying on the image of the dark patch in the trunk as with the same angle I cannot see the feasible way the dark patch goes from a small sphere on the right to a line extending past the trees center point. My hunch still says AI but I admit there is a possibility there is a method of reason I have not thought about.

Her hand doesn't cast a shadow

Ooh, you brought a good point up - I look at the lack of shadow on her hand when she touches the shadowed part of the tree. For the shadow to not shift on her hand where she touched the tree's shadow would need to be tilted the other direction. IF you look at 15 seconds her hand does cast a shadow, it just appears in frame. The shadow goes behind the other shadow, but it is not cast on her hand.

I'm not doubting a still frame painted. I'm doubting the moving frame and the physics that don't align with reality. If it is not AI, it is still some kind of special effect like a green screen to achieve the effect and handled in post processing.
Her hand entering the shadow and not being shaded is where I draw the line. Notice, the dark tint on the tree represents the shade line, watch her walk through the shadow and how much it affects her, then she runs her hand along the tree in the shadow and does not have a shadow on her.

I have narrowed down the origin of the video the slavic region(Czech republic, Slovakia, Belarus, Ukraine) based on the moss on the tree, the building architecture, and the length of the shadow. The winter solstice lines up with northern hemisphere because all of the trees are missing their leaves. I will say, if it is AI generated there are a lot of really good details that stayed consistent. The moss grows on the side of the tree that never receives sun. With the video being blurry it is hard to confirm that is what is on her side, but would support the origin theory.

if this is real it relies more on the "the box is empty" magicians trick rather than painting the tree.Mirrors redirect the line of sight to behind the object. That would also explain why as soon as she touched it the focus was lost and since she is not actually touching the tree, she is touching a mirror in front of the tree her hand would not be cast in shadow. She is never shown through the tree leaving me to suspect that is a limitation of the trick.
I believe the cammer picked up or moved one of the mirrors (or drawing) when they walked back towards the origin to break the illusion. There appear to be frames removed from the video to prevent the illusion being broken early. The perceived core of the tree also elongates leading me to believe more it is a reflection.

In the end I'd say you are right, it is more than likely not AI. I just had to put more thought into understanding why the physics didn't work as expected. I imagine the frame that is missing would have showed a reflection of her hand before she touched the tree. Her hand does have a strange pink aura in front of the tree still.

why do we need too know keep it short btw no harm intended

I started off convinced it was AI, so the extra detail was because of I needed that much detail to unpack the reality of it someone else might too.

I'm none of the above, I am just motivated by the truth more than the story people project. I am more than willing to accept being wrong to the point I called myself out multiple times. When you are so adamant it is not ai I was trying to figure out which of us was wrong.
