He was focusing on having a smaller animation team. He had nothing against the people he fired. It's just that last year TheOdd1sOut only released three videos. So I think he wants to be able to do more this year to make up for it.

Google Ngram viewer also shows that the word "homosexual" did not even enter wider usage until ~1890s-1900s. Considering most variations of the Bible were probably released before or around the 16th century (33<x<1500-1599 with x being any variable year between the year 33 and 1500), the homophobia nonsense commonly associated with Christianity is probably a mistranslation.
