I agree. If only the so-called “moderates” could stop the “radicals” from completely taking over their religion. Supposedly they make up the majority of Islam. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country by population and they seem to be able to keep the extremism to a minimum. Other places do as well. The extremism is too strong and has too much help from outside influences in most of the world for it to completely happen. Their assistance from Marxists and other useful idiots helps to keep them at the forefront of Islam.

I don't think it's possible. Hebrews/Jews started as a covenant between them and God. For Christians it's about everyone, including the worse of the worse in ISIS, having an equal chance at forgiveness and redemption if they accept it. No where is there anything about violently taking over the planet.

Yet one of the first things Muhammad did was raze and took over Mecca in order to centralize Islam. He wasn't just satisfied with just a small chunk of land like the Hebrews/Jews were given and wanted all the lands. And his methods were the tip of the sword or spear instead of love and forgiveness.

So can a religion that's been violent from the start ever be reformed.

I don't know what the One World Religion in Revelation will be but if today's Islam keeps doing what they are doing then they will be top contender for that dubious (dis)honor.

It's an interesting conundrum, isn't it? They NEED a reformation but can't have a reformation.
