I think it depends of the animal bc by killing you gain LV, so animals who kill regularly will have a stronger soul than human's.

For example: a lion that kills everyday bc he needs to eat will have a stronger soul than a human who never killed anyone, bc the lion's LV is higher while the human's is 1

I think that an animal's soul is as strong as a human soul, but some animals souls are slightly weaker and others slightly stronger
