Plot Summary:
In 1944, Thomas Calder, a daring yet disillusioned RAF pilot, inherits his grandfather’s old pocket watch after his family home is bombed. The watch begins behaving strangely—glowing faintly and ticking backward at random. With the help of Eva Reinhardt, a German physicist who defected to the Allies, they discover that the watch contains a map hidden in its internal mechanism—pointing to a location deep in the Alps.
Unknown to the world, the watch was forged by a secret civilization centuries ahead of its time—technologically advanced and hidden from history. The city, Aetherion, once acted as a temporal observatory and weapons testing ground before being abandoned. Now, it houses technology that can manipulate time and matter—enough to shift the outcome of any war.
The Nazi SS has also caught wind of the myth through stolen documents, and they send their own strike force led by Otto Falken, a ruthless occultist and military tactician. As both sides close in on Aetherion, Thomas and Eva must race to reach it first—not to use its power, but to keep it from falling into the wrong hands.
