I sat second row center, at the EWF concert in Chicago, in 1978. That tour was a pyramid‑and‑spaceship themed concert production & was part of their Spirit Tour.
Crafted with magician Doug Henning (and his protégé David Copperfield), it featured an extravagant stage show: a flying pyramid, levitating band members, laser effects, and Egyptian symbolism .
I was first in line for tickets for that concert.
I started the line —alone— standing outside the Stadium, starting at midnight— in the winter.
