Looks like he slid with the one leg sideways on the roof then landed on the stairs. Otherwise I'd think his legs would've been broken.

reminds me of that one movie "Hardcore Henry". Was brutal as hell to watch but was actually pretty fun, and really heartbreaking too at the end of the film. That final act actually crushed my soul so much - i won't spoil it if anyone here hasn't seen it yet.

Notice though on the roof slant how he just slides the side of his shoe along the near edge of that roof then lands on the stairs? That would soften the stair landing.

You'd think so but look closely when he "lands" on roof he basically slides down the edge of it with the side of his show then lands on the stairs. That slide with the shoe would take the edge off of his landing. It's subtle. Otherwise he certainly would've broken his legs
