The big wildcats like water but many domestic ones don't but often when it comes to drinking it's because many use bowls with still water which is why many cats don't drink much which is bad for their kidneys. We have a fountain and they drink a lot. Angora still demands sink drinks just for the sake of his love affair with being a demanding tyrant which is funny. Yeah some domestic breeds like water like the Turkish ones. Angoras and vans will swim if you have a pool. I think the Bengals that are half wild enjoy it too and the Sphinx typically does which is good since they require bathing but many cats just don't like being wet. Often the lack of drinking problem is solved by a fountain. We got a Wonder Creature pet fountain. Easy to use, not too pricey, not tough to assemble and clean and it's filtered, not loud and with a flower shaped thing on top where water runs out between the petals. Has a little rubber mat with it too. Got it on Amazon years ago and has lasted & still lasting.
