It is unlikely, but possible. You can protect your digital data by using a Faraday cage for your hard drives or flash drives. Optical discs are also a good idea. Also, I don't think you should store important data solely on the cloud if you can avoid it.

Ye 2025 is not gonna be a good one, the sun would produce it's strongest solar storm, which the earth (gladly) can handle it, but that would make sm kinetic energy that would make a light outage
