I love this chart. It is quite insightful so if you are of an age that you are starting to date or still dating, it might be helpful.

I can give a hat tip to online dating as we ended up with THE best son-in-law ever after I posted our daughter's pic & info on a dating site. The site is called Plenty of Fish and I believe is still a free online dating site.

There is somebody for everyone, freddy, just be patient. Put yourself out there so others know you are looking and share your interests and goals in life. I find it scary to go online to find a lover as there is people who are predators and stalkers (or even both!!..), I got stalked once for trying a dating app, but this chart is awesome! its nice to to see that people can find their one and only so fast :)

You are quite right to be cautious! Today it is so different from when I grew up & things were so much safer and so much less violent.

If you would ever want to meet with someone you were speaking with online (& you are under 18), please talk to your parents first. I would recommend everyone over 18 to be extremely alert to any red flags that might surface in conversation. Always pay attention to those gut feelings, too.

Get to know the person for awhile online. If you feel comfortable with them, give them your phone number and get to know them over the phone. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they talk! Again, if you are underage, consult your parents first before giving out your phone number. They should be able to guide you and keep you safe.

i am definitely very cautious and I am under 18 as well, yet I actually dont really date people as I'm not interested in it actually and i pretty much have to ask my parents for a lot things anyway, but I also get scared to talk on the phone with people (bc i have not a lot of experience in socializing and I have tics and sometimes I can accidentally make a noise out of nowhere which is really annoying) and I'm glad I know a lot of red flags of people too! :>
