I will give you cute, I have one that eats a chicken often, I don't kill owls, just because they are hungry. The good thing about owls is they only kill to eat, wild dogs, coons and other animals will kill the entire flock in one night.

I should also have mentioned they grow really fast. The woman may be an expert and probably knows how to handle predatory birds, but the average person should leave them alone if they find a baby or give it to an expert. My daughter sent me an article about a woman that "rescued" a sheep from a farm, and it wrecked her home, and she faced serious changes when she was caught.
