He could be eating anything, Thanos' snap ends half of life in the universe, therefore he could be eating a plant, deer, human, skin walker. Anything living.
so he had it in his mouth wille it was still conscions ( probably ) and since in the clip he's shown to spit dust. So it must of been small enough to be in his mouth.
