I know you already know that dems want more money to push more agendas, the only cut they would support is cutting out the fly over states but even then, they would demand they continue to be taxed.
Happens often on both sides though… once in power, the story changes, and whatever was said before is long forgotten. Whoever has a clean past isn’t a politician.
