There is not a single Republican that doesn’t want this. They’re all evil.

This is hyperbole, certainly true of the unhinged fringe of the Republican party, but not of most of them. I prefer a more nuanced argument.

No, they are not.

Granted, I will give you the radicals who expel some or most of that vitriol are definitely the loudest voices. But there are still quite a few conservatives on the right that are just as dumbfounded by this weird and dangerous counter-counterculture movement.

They’ve either stopped voting, voting third party, or have sucked in their pride and voted Not Republican until normality returns.

Personally, I am switching Democrat. They’re the only conservatives left.
