y'know a very large number of cartoon audiences are children. you don't need to introduce them to a subject they don't and probably shouldn't understand

A lot of cartoon fans these days are actually teens and adults in their early 20s despite cartoons being made for children. There are cartoons like Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Star vs The Forces of Evil, Gravity Falls, The Owl House, Amphibia, The Loud House and The Ghost and Molly McGee which all have lgbtq+ characters and many teens and young adults are fans of these shows.
