you can save up like $10 and buy one of those halloween candy bags, and use the $3.50 or something left over to buy a Hershey bar or smth. it wont simulate the trick-or-treat experience but it will get you some candy.
one of my neighbors doesnt necessarily give out full size candy bars, but he does have massive hands and he gives big-ass handfuls of twix, milkyways, etc.
