just because someone doesn't play the games doesnt mean they're not a fan-- but if someone blindly defends a terrible game-- sonic boom: rise of lyric, for example-- without having played it or any other game in the series, then they're not a fan ngl
and yeah
i mean, they def had to cut corners with the game. this is their chance to fix it
let's just hope they don't screw it up. the playable characters seem fun though

Not talking about being a fan, I don’t consider myself a Sonic fan. But the fact that you put in the time to play the games shows me you at least care on top of the shipping and simping. A lot of people just care about the latter and don’t bother with the games themselves.

I’ve played World at War for way longer than I’ve simped for it.

i mean, not everyone can afford or find sonic games-- but yeah there are people that only "like" it for what you mentioned. but yeah. I do play the games anytime i can and i dedicate and embarrassing amount of my time reading and watching other forms of sonic media
