Also by adding 2 digits to the color code or subtracting 2 for a just 4 digit color instead of the usual 6 - the latter being how an 'associate' of mine *wink* inadvertantly inventeded it in the first place and from which Finlay & HQ developed it into the other 2 methods as well. They first came up with the add 2 digits for a total of 8, the slider came late.
From the looks of it, the original method does have its limits, as seen in my meme, as that is an alteration of basic red.
