So, a couple days ago, we actually saw our friend's cat across the street, sitting out the window on the second floor because they accidentally left their window open. Me and a friend we live with went over, I stood under it in case it jumped so I could catch it. She knocked on their door, and tried calling them. It took a bit, but at one point someone answered the door and then they saved the cat. Afterwards, they put a screen in the window just to be safe
