So actually, cats don't not like the water, they just don't like it when someone forces them to go in water. If they were to choose to jump into water without an outside force interfering, they probably would.

cats only hate water when they're forced to go in it. they're fine with getting their paw a little wet, but if you try to bathe a cat, I've heard they get feisty.
