FUECOCO FINALLY BREAKS THE FIRE STARTER ZODIAC THEORY. GOD NOW I CAN REST. besides, there are only 3 CROCODILE POKEMON. one of them being fuecoco. i love the crocodile pokemon, sandile, fuecoco, and totodile. Furthermore, skeledirge can learn FIRE BLAST AND OVERHEAT. next, it has GREAT typing. this proves that the others arent just popular, yet GREAT in competitive.

Quaquaval is still the best with aqua step and moxie raising speed and attack, which makes it a great sweeper

well, have you noticed the fact that it is bad against skeledirge? with its fighting dual type, and the fighting moves it learns, the fact that skeledirge isnt effected by the very powerful moves that are fighting that it learns. skeledirge can also learn sunny day, causing the overheat if it knows it, which does 130 damage, is a guarenteed kill. furthermore, meowscarada may be dark type, but it can easily flower trick and K.O because its always crit+super effective.

Why are fire blast and overheat so important? Most fire types can learn those.

I picked sprig because at first I thought meowscrada’d be the best of the three competitively. Now I can firmly say that I made the wrong choice. Quaquavel cel may be my least favorite aesthetically, but it is the best in competitive.

Makes sense. But depending on what pokemon they battle it can affect which stat's improve on leveling up. So you can have the best of both worlds if your smart about it.

Are you talking about EVs? Because those won't close a power gap. The other pokemon would receive the same EVs and thus be more powerful.
